Le pont national

Pont National

C'est un pont utilitaire, construit (en 1853) sans beaucoup de recherche esthétique. Malgré son aspect terne et triste, il n'a rien à envier à d'autres ponts plus récents. C'est avant tout un boulevard, destiné à la circulation routière et ferrovière. Cette dernière semble ne plus être utilisée de nos jours.
Pour être élargi, il a été complété par une partie amont (dans les années 1940-1950).
